i'll never give up loving you

Ok, so i'm terrible. just hate me. hate me all you want, but this is me, and all i can be is me....slacker, somewhat scattered, distracted, multi-tasker who never quite completes the task at hand. hence the erratic and spotty blog. i do what i can when i can, so there! but listen, when i do appear, i come with a vengeance...i mean, look at those boys!!!! don't you wanna eat them up!?!?!

sooooo, lots going on here, but only moments to write, so will condense....the boys are wild, fabulous creatures...jackson recently told stephen, "daddy, i will never give up on loving you, no matter how many bad things you do, or how mad i get at you.". sometimes he tells me this during the day at randome, and sometimes he gets confused, and says, "i'll never forgive up loving you." also, the concepts of apology and forgiveness are still somewhat fuzzy for the jax. when he apologizes for something, i'll say, "i forgive you", to which he replies, "i forgive you, too, mommy". nice.

campbell is a super-monkey....he's got about 25 or 30 words now, and he's them like he's getting paid to do it. he tells me all day long, "daddy's at work" and he just stands by the door and waits (not that i'm not completely fulfilling his every need and desire). sometimes he ammends it to "daddy works", which i find even funnier. when i say, "campbell, are we getting married?", he says in his sing-songy voice with a cheshire cat grin, "noooooooooooo, mommy." want to nibble on him all day long. he also thinks my dear mother lives at bob evans, her favorite haunt due to the generous senior citizens discount (sorry, mom!), so when we start to just approach the intersection, he yells, "awo, dama!" or "awo, gigi!" (translated, "hello, grandma" or "hello, G-ma" which he doesn't quite get yet....still, "gigi" is pretty stinkin' cute.

anyway, we are just plugging along here....stephen is in the middle of the job interview process, with one promising prospect at a commercial real estate agency, so we're keeping our fingers crossed. meanwhile, our church, the summit, and its people have been absolutely phenomenal in helping us get on our feet financially. i mean, literally, there are random checks and wads of cash in envelopes, and in our mailbox from "anonymous"...it's just amazing how good people can be, and how we're able to really rest in our faith that God will provide for our needs, no matter how dire the situation may seem. every month, as we near the end, we wonder where the mortgage will come from, and somehow it's always there. God is good to us, and we are very thankful! thank you to everyone who has played a part in that.

alrighty, i'm out, but will allegedly write more soon. LOVE!
