i went to new york. in march.

alrighty folks....here you go! three times in one week. i am astounding.
here are some recent (2 month old) photos of the dudes playing on our massive back porch ( you can almost see the whole thing in the photo). i love campbell's fake smile and chunky thighs....yum yum, gimme some. campbell's select chunk thighs (=
the rest are of mommy in nyc for a sort of missions trip with our church...we went to assist with the planting of the gallery church, which is affiliated with our home church, the summit, in durham. check out www.summitchurch.cc for some ridiculously good sermons by jd greear and updates on stuff we're doing locally, like our "mission trip to durham", where we'll be assisting in building homes, teaching english as a second language, etc....lots of amazing stuff! in new york, we worked very hard, as you can see. seriously, we did work, but it wasn't work work...we helped them get the word out about the church (new yorkers love it when you hand them a flyer on the street corner), stuff easter eggs for a community-wide easter egg hunt (16,000 eggs...holy.), and just invite people....lots of people discovered the church that week, which we're very excited about...it's an amazing place with an amazing mission....they just wanna love new york and take care of it, and share God's love with its people....right on. they're getting their hands into everything from pregnancy support to hiv/aids support, and there is not doubt they'll make a huge impact in the city...very nice.

alrighty, i'm so done. going to ebay, and then sleep for at least 6 hours until someone under 4 feet tall sings me awake or knocks on my forehead.

*um, malachy's is the holy and sacred bar where stephen proposed to me for the final time. i finally said "yes"
*that's kelly ripa doing a spot for "live"...yes, i totally tourist-stalked her, and took her picture. so retarded. i used to hate every tourist that stopped for a photo.
*please also note the very tourist-friendly photo of the city from the top of rockefeller center. double-dumb, but beautiful nonetheless.
*finally, a blizzard fell the day we left. seriously, snow up to the knees. (maybe only the mid-calf or ankle for the rest of you, but knees for me)
